Mathematics and Applied Mathematics


Ⅰ. Educational Objectives

This program provides a sound grounding in both the fundamental theories and methods of mathematics study. Students will also accept excellent basic training in mathematics and computer knowledge. Our aim is to nurture special talents for careers in production operations and management, science research and education.

Ⅱ. Skills Profile

As a student of this program, you are supposed to gain:
1. Solid grounding and excellent basic training in mathematics;
2. Basic knowledge in mathematic economy;
3. Skills to build mathematical models, skills to solve real-world problems with the aid of computers;
4. Mastery of a foreign language and the ability to employ technical resources in foreign text.
