China Aug. 10-12, 2007 In order to provide an exchange platform for researchers on management science both at home and abroad to share the new ideology, new theory, new methodology and new achievement of management science theory and practice, to accelerate the exchange between China and world management science domain and the innovation, and as well as to promote the international research on Chinese management science issue, the management science department of the committee of national natural sciences foundation plans to hold the 6th International Conference on Management Science from August, 10th to 12th , 2007, undertaken by Huzhong University of Science and Technology. Our university is one of the universities that established the discipline of management at an early time, with leading comprehensive strength and academic level among the schools of management in the whole nation, possessing a moderately good reputation. The logistics service at this university is among the top levels with strong reception capability and has already taken on various international academic symposiums for hundreds of times. The discussion will be focused on global challenges and management reforms on 14 subtopics including operational management and logistic, optimization method and model, decision-making theory and application, information management and electronic business, financial projects and venture management, marketing and service management, organization and behavior, operating strategy and globalization, technology innovation and enterprise initialization, China-characterized management and economy and policy models. The academician Guo Chongqing, director of management science department of the committee of national natural sciences foundation will be the president of the symposium. It is estimated that 400 scholars will participate, with 100 from the USA, Canada, Germany, France and Japan and so on, and the other 300 are Chinese scholars.
