In order to integrate various achievements accomplished in the field of space information technology, and to promote the academic exchanges among experts and scholars from different countries, it has been scheduled that the 2nd International Conference on Space Information Technology will be held in HUST from 24th to 25th, November, 2007.

The first-class discipline “Information and Telecommunication Engineering” of HUST has the second-class discipline “Space Information Technology”. After years of great efforts, abundant research fruit has been achieved in theory and technology of space information access, transformation and processing in regards of Satellite Navigation、Satellite Communication Network、frequency hopping and spread spectrum communication、Air Vehicle Measure and Control. These achievements have had great influence both at home and abroad. This conference will focus on the theory and technology of space communication network、space vehicle payload、earth observation and navigation and so on, covering space information access、transformation、possessing and application, etc.

Famous scholar Academician Zhong Shan will be invited as the chairman of the conference, and Don M. Flournoy as vice chairman. It is estimated that eighty scholars will attend the conference , including thirty from America、Britain、France、 Germany 、Japan 、Russia、Ukraine、Hong Kong and other countries and regions and fifty scholars from China.
