From Oct.17th to 21st,our president Li Peigen and a delegation made a special trip to Hong Kong and Macao. They visited the Liaison Office stationed in Hong Kong of Central People’s Government, the Liaison Office stationed in Macao of Central People’s Government, The Special Office in Hong Kong of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Macao Chinese Education Federation, The Li Jiacheng Foundation, The Fangshu Futang Foundation, The Tian Jiabing Foundation, The Hong Kong Schoolmates League of Chinese Universities, and some famous persons, such as Liang Liangsheng, Ma Youheng, Li Peilin, Cai Zhilong and so on.

This visit have become a bridge between our university and related units in Hong

Kong and Macao, and is significant for the cooperation it produces in science, technology, education, and other fields. Through the contact with the related departments, institutes and other units and individuals, our university has been become widely known, especially for its development and other achievements. The visit has brought us some ideas about how to lead the teaching, learning and study more freely and openly. We also have harvested some direct results, and meet more of our schoolmates more .
