Five guests from American Eaton Corporation visited our university on March 20, led by Mr.Yannis Tsavalas, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Eaton Corp. A major aim of the visit was to sign a scientific cooperation agreement.

American Eaton Corp. is a global diversified industrial products manufacturer and seller in the fluid power, industrial and commercial controls, automotive and truck industries. Its products are found in a broad spectrum of applications including aerospace, marine, industrial control, construction, automotive and truck, taking a leading position in these industries all over the world.

Wang Yanjue, Vice Chancellor of HUST, attended the signing ceremony. Chancellor Li Peigen and Vice Chancellor Wang Cheng met with Doctor Haoran Hu, Chief Scientist of Eaton Corp., also an alumni of HUST.

The guests paid a visit to Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, the Institute of Energy and Power, College of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Engineering Training Center. Upon completing the tour, they praised the scientific research ability of our university.
