During 8^th to 14^th of September the Optic Valley Stadium in HUST had been decorated with colorful flags and beautiful flowers for the occasion that the 2007 annual meeting of Chinese science association would be grandly held here, sponsored by Chinese science association and the government of the HuBei Province.

It is said that the theme of this annual meeting is “resources-saving, environment-friendly, harmony, development”, including academic communication activities in fifteen separate meetings, thirteen sessions of activities for science publicizing as well as twelve special forums. Among them, five special forums--“the technology of energy-saving and environment conservation and its application”, “biological energy and its development and utility”, “green manufacturing and compound materials”, “information and management innovation” and “medical science and health” were arranged respectively in the School of Economics, the academic reporting hall of the No.1 building, students’ center, the School of Management and the College of Public Administration. In addition, several large-scale activities for science publicizing such as “round exhibitions for publicizing knowledge of REEF society” would be held in the Optic Valley Stadium.
