On 13th September, the chairman of HUST's Committee Zhu Yuquan and his delegation returned to the school after a successful visit to six European Universities.

The delegation led by Zhu Yuquan has visited six universities in Europe as well as Russia. As one of the most significant events in the "Hubei Day" in the "Russia-China Year", it has sent a very prominent message of HUST to explore international exchange and cooperation.

During the visit, Zhu Yuquan and his delegation first attended the activity of the "Hubei Day" in the "Russia-China Year" held in Moscow, and then went to St. Petersburg for a visit to St. Petersburg Marine Technology University where Zhu Yuquan signed a new cooperation agreement with the president there and made a wide exchange and discussion as to how to make further cooperation.

From 10th to 12th, they made a special visit to Leuven University in Belgium. The delegation was very impressed by the comprehensive scientific and research capacity of the university and the two sides had promised further cooperation.
