According to the notice of the result of 2007 Undergraduate Scientific Research Achievements of Hubei Province, released by provincial ministry of education, the appraising section of the competition has already finished, in which 823 pieces of achievements recommended by 56 colleges and universities have applied for the Award. Experts have chosen out 296 pieces, among which 26 are the first prizes, 105 the second prizes and 165 the third prizes. Our university has obtained a satisfactory result in this competition again with 7 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and 7 third prizes, amounting to a total of 28 pieces of awards. The numbers of both the first prize and total awards top the list.
