Symposium on “Recent Advances in Separation and Purification Techniques
for Biological and Pharmaceutical Products Development”


 


The Symposium on “Recent Advances in Separation and Purification Techniques for Biological and Pharmaceutical Products Development” has been scheduled to take place in Singapore from 21 to 23 February 2004. The event is organized by the Centre of Biotechnology (CBT) and the Centre of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering (CCPE), both of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and in cooperation with two renowned Chinese universities, namely Tsinghua University and Tianjin University.

The upcoming symposium provides a forum for academicians, researchers and professional from both public and private organizations, particularly in the Asia region, to exchange knowledge and information of relevance tot eh chemical, biomedical and pharmaceutical industries. The Organizing Committee welcomes academics, engineers, scientists and industrialists to participate and contribute to this symposium on topics of vital significant to the industries in the areas of separation and purification. Some of the topics to be discussed include crystallization, filtration, chromatography, bio-separation and novel analytical and process developments.
