Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), backing Huazhong University of Science and Technology with the participation of Wuhan Physics and Mathematics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Huazhong Institute of Optoelectronic Engineering, is one of the national laboratory experimental units initiated by the National Science and Technology Ministry. WNLO covers all the advanced research areas in optoelectronics, and is an important part of the national science and technology innovation system. WNLO is committed to the basic, the applied basic and the cutting-edge high-tech researches with proper extension into the applied technology fields. 1. Qualifications
1) Experienced in optoelectronic materials, nano-photonics, micro-systems, basic photonics, optical communication, optical storage, laser science and technology, bio-medical photonics, and other optoelectronics related fields.
2) With an earned Ph. D. degree. Domestic “Chang Jiang scholars”, young scientists in the “Hundreds-Talent Program” of CAS, oversea assistant professors and above or the equivalents preferred.
3) For research division directors or group leader applicants, bringing their own high quality teams encouraged.
4) Achieved in the relevant research fields, with novel ideas and visions in their own fields, and available fulltime for the positions.

2. Benefits
1) For Academicians of Academia of Sciences or Engineering
provide corresponding research start-up funds, according to various subject statuses;
assure working spaces;offer full-time secretary and part-time health-care doctor.
provide 120000 Yuan academician allowance and free academician housing (> 260 m2), plus 100000 Yuan one-time settling compensation;
jobs for spouse and one child.
2) For “Chang Jiang Scholarship” Invited Professors
provide corresponding research start-up funds, according to various subject statuses ;assure working spaces; offer full-time secretary; pay professor salary, besides the “Chang Jiang scholarship” invited professor allowance stipulated by the Education Ministry; provide a free 3-bedroom or 4-bedroom apartment, during the tenure,
the university will provide subsidy in cash according to the university’s policy, plus 120000 Yuan apartment purchasing payment (1000 Yuan per month for 10 years) and 50000 Yuan settling compensation, for one who becomes the regular employee, if an apartment is purchased

2) For the one who is not able to work full time in WNLO, the Lab will provide a 3-bedroom temporary housing, and according to the scientific achievement, offer monthly salary and working conditions.
